Project Manager (Civil Site Design) – Lead Land Development Projects in Hillsborough, NJ
Are you an experienced Project Manager in Civil Site Design looking for your next opportunity in New Jersey? At Carroll Engineering Corporation, we are hiring a talented and driven civil engineer to manage a range of exciting land development projects from concept to completion. Based in our Hillsborough, NJ office, this role is ideal for someone with a passion for site design, stormwater management, and team leadership.
Position Description:
As a Project Manager (Civil Site Design), you will:

Oversee and design a wide variety of land development projects—residential, commercial, educational, and mixed-use
-
Manage and develop site layouts, grading, stormwater systems, erosion and sedimentation control plans
-
Conduct site investigations and interpret state and local engineering design standards

Prepare and/or assist with concept plans, subdivision plans, site plans, and technical reports

Regularly coordinate with contractors, clients, sub-consultants, and internal team members
Project Manager (Civil Site Design) Requirements:

NJ P.E. License Preferred
-
E.I.T. Certification Required
-
5 – 10+ years of relevant experience in civil/site design

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software (HydroCAD or similar)

Experience with land development and site design
-
Knowledge of stormwater management, grading, erosion & sediment control, and utility design
-
Familiarity with NJDEP regulatory permitting, subdivision, and site plan approvals

Strong work ethic and time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

High attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Skilled in managing and designing multiple projects simultaneously
