Carroll Engineering Corporation is providing engineering design, permitting, bidding and construction administration services for the construction of a 1.7 million gallon ground level water storage tank for the Brodhead Creek Regional Authority (BCRA). The tank will be in addition to an existing 1.7 million gallon Pocono Tank at BCRA’s Pocono Tank Site in Swiftwater, PA. The new tank will provide additional distribution storage for BCRA’s water system and allow one tank to be taken out service when necessary for maintenance and repairs. Tank design will be prestressed concrete which is identical to the existing tank.Brodhead Creek Regional Authority provides safe drinking water to nearly 30,000 people in the Borough of Stroudsburg, Stroud, Smithfield, Hamilton and Pocono, and Tobyhanna Townships in Monroe County.
Carroll Engineering’s GIS Department is providing GIS services which are used to manage and maintain all of BCRA’s water utility assets. Using state-of-the-art systems of ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, Carroll Engineering is working with BCRA to establish a Smart Asset Collection System. This system will produce results to assist with maximizing capital investments.
We are very pleased to be serving BCRA for both Engineering and GIS and look forward to continuing to develop a trusting, working relationship with the Authority.
