On June 11th at the Mack Truck Customer Center in Allentown, PA, the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2019 Transportation Committee Forum titled “Funding Down the Road.”
There were two panel discussions held during the Forum. The first panel was titled “Federal Funding Key to Infrastructure” and was moderated by Roger Cohen, Senior Policy Advisor to Secretary of Transportation Leslie S. Richards. Other members of the panel consisted of Joe Brady, Senior Manager of Federal Government Relations for the American Society of Civil Engineers and Ward McCarragher, Vice President of Government Affairs for the American Public Transportation Association.
The second panel, “View of our Transportation Future on a Regional Level” was moderated by Tony Iannelli, President and CEO of The Chamber. Other members of the panel consisted of Becky Bradley, Executive Director of the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission; Owen O’Neil, Executive Director of the Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority; Christopher Kufro, PE, Assistant District Executive of PennDOT Engineering District 5; and Tom Stoudt, Executive Director of the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
