Upper Nazareth Township, which is a second-class township located in Northampton County, has almost doubled its population in the last 20 years, reaching over 8,000 residents in 2020. The observed spike is exponential to an incredible infrastructure development that continues to grow in both the industrial and residential sectors. With an area of 7.99 square miles, the Township offers a variety of entertainment for its residents and tourism such as restaurants, coffee shops, athletic organizations, parks, and playgrounds. Moreover, the public schools in Upper Nazareth Township are highly rated making the suburbs even a more desirable residential destination.
Historically, the existence of Upper Nazareth Township goes back to 1788, when Bethlehem Township was named the township of Nazareth, and in 1807 further divided into two separate townships, Upper Nazareth Township and Lower Nazareth Township. Currently, it is one of the fastest-growing suburban communities in the Lehigh Valley, with a great potential for further development. That being said, it is an honor for Carroll Engineering Corporation to become the appointed Alternate Township Engineer for Upper Nazareth Township for the year 2022. Carroll Engineering is looking forward to building a trusting, working relationship with the Township as well as contributing to its community and the Township’s infrastructure itself.
