Civil Designer / CAD Professional Position Description:
The Civil Designer CAD Professional will oversee and contribute to the design of various projects, including multi-use, residential, commercial, and educational developments. This role requires a combination of drafting and design skills, expertise in site development, and the ability to collaborate with contractors and clients to ensure project success.

Requirements for Civil Designer CAD Professional Role
Required Experience and Skills:
- 5 – 10+ years of relevant experience
- Must have proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Land Development and Site Design experience
- Stormwater Management, Grading, Erosion & Sediment Control, and Utility Design
- Regulatory Permitting (NPDES Permitting) and Zoning approvals
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to manage and design multiple concurrent projects
Responsibilities of a Civil Designer CAD Professional
Key Duties and Project Involvement:
- Managing and developing site design (from conception through final approval)
- Grading, erosion, and sedimentation control
- Site investigation
- Researching state and local design standards
- Coordination/communication with contractors and clients
- Stormwater management
- This position involves both drafting and designing your own work
