CEC Awards Scholarship to Central Bucks East High School Graduate

Vice President Joel Ardman proudly announced that Briana Talbot of Pipersville, PA has been awarded the Carroll Engineering Corporation 2017 Scholarship.Briana, a 2017 graduate of Central Bucks East High School, received a $1,000 tuition grant, administered through the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce. The grant is awarded annually to a local graduate who intends to study in the field of engineering at the post-secondary level. Briana will be attending Penn State University, where she will double major in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry / Molecular Biology.

“Briana is mature, good natured and genuine. She is respected by her peers and is a leader by example.  I have no doubt that Briana will achieve any goal that she sets her mind to and even exceed her expectations”, said Christina Rittenhouse, one of Briana’s teachers.

During her time at Central Bucks East High School, Briana was on the varsity soccer and basketball teams and participated in a program called Athletes Helping Athletes. This program offers a place for special needs athletes to fulfill their desire to participate in sports.
