Senior Transportation Engineer


Position Type: Full Time

Department: Warrington, PA Office – Traffic and Transportation Department

Requirements:  Registered Professional Engineer

Position Description:  Full time position in our Warrington, PA office. Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of consulting experience and/or related PA Department of Transportation experience to include a minimum of five (5) years of project management experience. Candidates must have demonstrated technical experience with a wide range of traffic and transportation projects as well as experience serving clients. Responsibilities involve project management, design, and support of business development activities for transportation projects across Pennsylvania as well as the preparation and processing of transportation studies and designs for state, county and municipal projects. Duties include: full managerial responsibility for all aspects of assigned projects including scope development, contract negotiations, cost control, staff management, and quality control; management and mentoring of junior engineers on project assignments; coordinating design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors, and clients; coordinating the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff; and, assisting with business development activities such as: initiating and reviewing proposals, participating in interviews and presentations.

Survey Party Chief


Position Type: Full Time

Department: Warrington, PA Office – Survey Department

Requirements:  Minimum 5 years of Survey Experience as Survey Party Chief / Able to Operate Trimble Surveying Equipment, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Microstation Experience a Plus / OSHA 40 HR Training a Plus

Position Description: Full time positions in our Warrington, PA office. Responsibilities include the ability to perform boundary and topographic surveys.  Applicant must be familiar with construction survey and construction plans and RW maps.  Must be able to work remotely under rigorous conditions and work independently as a one-man crew.  Assist with survey computations and data collection as needed.  Must be reliable and possess excellent communication skills.  Additional requirements:  valid driver’s license and have the ability to work out of town and be flexible with work area and travel.

Traffic Engineer


Position Type: Full Time

Department: Warrington, PA Office – Traffic and Transportation Department

Requirements:  BSCE or equivalent

Position Description: Full time position in our Warrington, PA office. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of progressive engineering experience, AutoCAD C3D proficiency, a working knowledge of MicroStation, the MUTCD, the Highway Capacity Manual and AASHTO guidelines. Duties include: all aspects of project development including traffic signal, signing, pavement marking, ITS, and work zone traffic control design; traffic analysis (Synchro/Sim Traffic experience required, VISSIM experience preferred), technical report writing, and participating in client and public meetings. P.E. Registration required and PTOE Certification preferred, but not required.

Accountant


Position Type: Full Time

Department: Warrington, PA Office – Accounting Department

Requirements:  BS in Accounting

Position Description:  Full time position in our Warrington, PA office. The ideal candidate will have engineering industry and/or other professional services industry experience, excellent Excel spreadsheet skills, strong knowledge of GAAP accounting practices, familiarity with accounting software, and, strong analytical skills.   Experience with Deltek Vision or similar software is preferred. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of accounting experience. The position represents a critical role with involvement in many highly visible areas of our business operations, responsible for general month-end close procedures, including reconciliations and journal entry processing, as well as presentation of activity/results to Accounting Manager. Responsibilities may include:

  • Participation in the month end close process including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts and preparing account analysis
  • Collaboration with operations personnel and management to ensure visibility is maintained to key accounting data
  • Preparation of weekly payroll
  • Enhancement of processes and controls by improving documentation and workflows, where applicable
  • Assistance with external/internal audit process, including assisting with the preparation of audited financial statements, footnotes and supplemental information
  • Providing support for year-end audit
  • Assisting in other general accounting activities, as required
  • Producing ad hoc reports and analyses, as requested
  • Participation in user acceptance testing associated with system upgrades

Civil Engineer


Position Type: Full Time

Department: Hillsborough, NJ Office

Requirements:  BSCE or Equivalent

Position Description: Full time position in our Hillsborough, NJ Office.  Minimum two years of experience in subdivision/land development design and permitting. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Hydraflow / StormSewers and/or StormCAD is required. Duties include management and design of subdivision and land development projects, including preparation of record plans, grading plans, utility plans, and erosion control plans.  Must be familiar with stormwater management design and calculations including; pipe design, basin hydrographs, BMP’s, and NJPDES permitting.
